We’re Here to Help
The Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center, a nationally accredited children’s advocacy center, is the first stop for children in the Grand Traverse region who are suspected victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and for children who have witnessed a violent crime.
The Center is a child-friendly, specially-equipped facility where children go for recorded forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling and intervention during the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. It is the only nonprofit in the Grand Traverse Region involved in the investigation of crimes against children. All services are provided to children, siblings, and their protective caregivers at no charge. Translators are available in Spanish and other languages.
Hours of Operation
The Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Center observes the same holiday schedule as Grand Traverse County.
