Body Safety Storytime
April 2026 (various dates)
Join us throughout April for a family-friendly Body Safety Storytime with our Director of Prevention, Jenna. During this free event, participants will enjoy a read-aloud, practice consent skills, receive book recommendations, and leave with a Body Safety Toolkit!

April 22: 11:00a - 11:30a at the Great Lake Children’s Museum
Cocktail Night at TC Whiskey Co.
Join us for a cocktail night in support of the Traverse Bay Children's Advocacy Center!
The evening will feature a special cocktail menu where TBCAC will receive 50% of the proceeds from every pour. So if you’re in need of a post-work cocktail, take a little detour to Traverse City Whiskey Co. and raise a glass in support of TBCAC services.
This event also kicks off Child Abuse Prevention Month, with events happening all month long in support of the children in our region. Come sip, connect, and make a difference for local kids.
Mari Vineyards Wine Run 5k
Join us at Mari Vineyards for one of the most scenic 5K races in the region. Participants are encouraged to register early to take advantage of discounted pricing and may choose to make an additional donation to Traverse Bay Children’s Advocacy Center during registration.

Talk Protect Report (TPR) is a framework for the prevention of child sexual abuse and exploitation. TPR: Digital Safety Edition will teach participants how to:
TALK about the pros and cons of digital use to understand where risk lives online
PROTECT children by limiting the risk of online abuse and exploitation
REPORT online harm (bullying, grooming, child sexual abuse material) to the appropriate authorities
