Protecting children starts with prevention

Meet the dedicated professionals who educate, empower, and protect children through prevention, awareness, and research. Our team works to understand the root causes of child sexual abuse, using data and evaluation to help shift social norms and prevent harm before it happens.

Reggie Noto
Sr. Advisor of Primary Prevention

Reggie works with a talented team to design, implement, and measure upstream initiatives for child sexual abuse prevention. She is excited to expand TBCAC’s Primary Prevention programming with the hope of creating a world without abuse.

Outside of work, Reggie’s world revolves around food! She loves to talk about food, cook, eat, and just when you think it's over, she's back at it planning her
next meal.

Jenna Baker Prevention Coordinator

Jenna works throughout the six-county service area of TBCAC to develop, organize, and conduct prevention programming. She is passionate about empowering young people, supporting caregivers, and strengthening connections within our community.

Outside of work, Jenna likes to keep active and enjoy nature by strength training, pilates, hiking, dancing, golfing, and skiing. She also loves to read, play board games, and spend time with her partner and pups!

Answering your prevention questions

  • Our prevention team works to stop child abuse before it happens by focusing on primary prevention research to educate communities, train adults, and empower children with the knowledge and skills to stay safe.

  • We provide training and education for parents, teachers, caregivers, schools, community groups, and professionals who work with children. We currently offer light programming for youth, while actively working to create more robust youth programming.

  • Our Talk.Protect.Report.™️ program, or TPR, which is a 2.5-hour evidence-informed training designed for any adult who wants to learn how to be an effective advocate for children. This program is completely FREE of charge.

Developed by Tufts Medical Center, HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) shifts the focus from problems to strengths, highlighting how positive childhood experiences (PCEs) can buffer the effects of trauma and improve lifelong health. Participants will explore the 4 Building Blocks of HOPE and gain tools to apply this uplifting, research-based framework in their work with children and families.

Bright Futures Blueprint™️, or BFB, is our primary prevention program for youth, aimed to prevent child sexual abuse, exploitation, and trafficking before it occurs. BFB is currently in development with hopes of launching in elementary schools in the 2026/27 school year.

BFB Body Safety Story Time classes are currently available for booking! These 30-minute lessons include a body safety book read aloud, interactive consent practice with TBCAC’s certified Facility Dog, Henry, and a take-home toolkit/coloring book designed for young kids and their caregivers.
